The current generation of the German crossover Tiguan appeared in 2016 and received facelift renovations in 2020, and today we are reviewing all our information about the upcoming all-new 2024 car, which will represent the third generation of Tiguan cars and is expected to officially be shown to us during the fall of 2023 and be available for sale in Europe during the beginning of 2024, God willing.


The newest German car from VW will be based on the MQB Eve platform, an improved version of the current platform. According to the official teaser images attached to this news, it seems that the new car will slightly abandon its boxy design.

In addition, the driver and front passenger have an additional 9 mm of headroom, while the people sitting in the back benefit from an additional 10 mm.


A new Tiguan will follow in the footsteps of its older sister, the recently refurbished Tuareg 2024, which has recently appeared with an extended line that combines headlights.

Although no photos of the interior are provided, we know that the lower-spec Volkswagen Tiguan 2024 standard cars will use an infotainment system with a 12.9-inch screen, and the higher version will come with a larger 15-inch screen.


We also know that Volkswagen is planning to install a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a screen on the glass. Speaking of screens, there will be a new 4Motion Active Control OLED screen installed on the center console that facilitates the choice of driving position and contributes to adjusting the volume and ambient lighting.


It is still too early to know the mechanical specifications of the new Tiguan, but the first information says that it will be available again with gasoline, diesel, and plug-in hybrid engines.
